Leviticus 2

1 “When anyone brings a grain offering to the LORD, his offering must consist of fine flour. He is to pour olive oil on it, put frankincense on it,

2 and bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the flour and oil, together with all the frankincense, and burn this as a memorial portion on the altar, a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.

3 The remainder of the grain offering shall belong to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the food offerings to the LORD.

4 Now if you bring an offering of grain baked in an oven, it must consist of fine flour, either unleavened cakes mixed with oil or unleavened wafers coated with oil.

5 If your offering is a grain offering prepared on a griddle, it must be unleavened bread made of fine flour mixed with oil.

6 Crumble it and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering.

7 If your offering is a grain offering cooked in a pan, it must consist of fine flour with oil.

8 When you bring to the LORD the grain offering made in any of these ways, it is to be presented to the priest, and he shall take it to the altar.

9 The priest is to remove the memorial portion from the grain offering and burn it on the altar as a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.

10 But the remainder of the grain offering shall belong to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the food offerings to the LORD.

11 No grain offering that you present to the LORD may be made with leaven, for you are not to burn any leaven or honey as a food offering to the LORD.

12 You may bring them to the LORD as an offering of firstfruits, but they must not go up on the altar as a pleasing aroma.

13 And you shall season each of your grain offerings with salt. You must not leave the salt of the covenant of your God out of your grain offering; you are to add salt to each of your offerings.

14 If you bring a grain offering of firstfruits to the LORD, you shall offer crushed heads of new grain roasted on the fire.

15 And you are to put oil and frankincense on it; it is a grain offering.

16 The priest shall then burn the memorial portion of the crushed grain and the oil, together with all its frankincense, as a food offering to the LORD.

1 ¶ And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be [of] fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:

2 And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, [to be] an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD:

3 And the remnant of the meat offering [shall be] Aaron's and his sons': [it is] a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

4 And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven, [it shall be] unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.

5 And if thy oblation [be] a meat offering [baken] in a pan, it shall be [of] fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.

6 Thou shalt part it in pieces, and pour oil thereon: it [is] a meat offering.

7 And if thy oblation [be] a meat offering [baken] in the fryingpan, it shall be made [of] fine flour with oil.

8 And thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the LORD: and when it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar.

9 And the priest shall take from the meat offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn [it] upon the altar: [it is] an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

10 And that which is left of the meat offering [shall be] Aaron's and his sons': [it is] a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

11 ¶ No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.

12 As for the oblation of the firstfruits, ye shall offer them unto the LORD: but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.

13 And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.

14 And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, [even] corn beaten out of full ears.

15 And thou shalt put oil upon it, and lay frankincense thereon: it [is] a meat offering.

16 And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, [part] of the beaten corn thereof, and [part] of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof: [it is] an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

1 If a soul will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, it shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil thereon, and put incense thereon.

2 And they shall bring them unto the priests, Aaron's sons. And the priest shall take an handful of the fine flour, and of the oil, and all the incense, and burn them for a memorial upon the altar. This is a fire for a sweet aroma to the LORD.

3 And the rest of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons'. This shall be the most holy of the fires of the LORD.

4 And if he will not make a meat offering of the things baken in the oven, then he shall take cakes of fine flour unleavened with oil, and unleavened cakes spread with oil.

5 And if thy meat offering be any of the baked things that are in the pan, it shall be of unleavened breadcrumbs mingled with oil.

6 And thou shalt cut it in pieces, and pour oil upon it, and it shall be a meat offering.

7 And if thy meat offering be somewhat roasted upon the grate, then thou shalt make it of fine flour with oil.

8 And thou shalt bring the meat offering, which thou shalt make of such things unto the LORD, unto the priest, and he shall bring it unto the altar.

9 And lift up the meat offering thereof for a memorial, and burn it upon the altar. This is a fire for a sweet savour unto the LORD.

10 And the rest shall be Aaron's, and his sons'. This shall be the most holy of the fires of the LORD.

11 All the meat offerings which ye shall offer unto the LORD shall ye make without leaven: for no leaven, nor honey, shall be kindled under it unto the LORD for a fire.

12 But for the firstfruits ye shall bring them unto the LORD: but upon no altar shall they be for a sweet savour.

13 All thy meat offerings shalt thou salt, and thy meat offering shall never be without salt of the covenant of thy God: for in all thine offering thou shalt offer salt.

14 And if thou wilt offer a meat offering unto the LORD of the firstfruits, thou shalt pound the sangs, which are dried in the fire, and offer the meat offering of thy firstfruits;

15 And thou shalt put oil thereon, and put frankincense thereon, and it shall be a meat offering.

16 And the priest shall burn of the crushed meat, and of the oil, with all the incense, for a memorial. This is a fire unto the LORD.
