Malachi 4

1 “For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace, when all the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble; the day is coming when I will set them ablaze,” says the LORD of Hosts. “Not a root or branch will be left to them.”

2 “But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and leap like calves from the stall.

3 Then you will trample the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day I am preparing,” says the LORD of Hosts.

4 “Remember the law of My servant Moses, the statutes and ordinances I commanded him for all Israel at Horeb.

5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome Day of the LORD.

6 And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Otherwise, I will come and strike the land with a curse.”

1 ¶ For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do [this], saith the LORD of hosts.

4 ¶ Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, [with] the statutes and judgments.

5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

2 But unto you that fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise, and salvation under the wings thereof; and ye shall go forth and come in, and wax as fatlings.

3 Ye shall tread down the wicked: for they shall be ashes under your feet in the day that I will make, saith the LORD of hosts.

4 Remember the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded him in mount Horeb unto all Israel, with the commandments and the statutes.

5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
