Psalms 103

1 Of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul; all that is within me, bless His holy name.

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget all His kind deeds—

3 He who forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases,

4 who redeems your life from the Pit and crowns you with loving devotion and compassion,

5 who satisfies you with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

6 The LORD executes righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.

7 He made known His ways to Moses, His deeds to the people of Israel.

8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion.

9 He will not always accuse us, nor harbor His anger forever.

10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins or repaid us according to our iniquities.

11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His loving devotion for those who fear Him.

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.

14 For He knows our frame; He is mindful that we are dust.

15 As for man, his days are like grass—he blooms like a flower of the field;

16 when the wind passes over, it vanishes, and its place remembers it no more.

17 But from everlasting to everlasting the loving devotion of the LORD extends to those who fear Him, and His righteousness to their children’s children—

18 to those who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts.

19 The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.

20 Bless the LORD, all His angels mighty in strength who carry out His word, who hearken to the voice of His command.

21 Bless the LORD, all His hosts, you servants who do His will.

22 Bless the LORD, all His works in all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!

1 ¶ [A Psalm] of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name.

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good [things; so that] thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

6 ¶ The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

8 The LORD [is] merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep [his anger] for ever.

10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, [so] great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

12 As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

13 Like as a father pitieth [his] children, [so] the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we [are] dust.

15 [As for] man, his days [are] as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

17 But the mercy of the LORD [is] from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

19 ¶ The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21 Bless ye the LORD, all [ye] his hosts; [ye] ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

3 Who forgiveth all thy sins, and healeth all thine infirmities,

4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction, who crowneth thee with grace and mercy,

5 Who maketh thy mouth to rejoice, and thou shalt be young again as the eagle.

6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment unto all that are wronged.

7 He hath made known his ways unto Moses, and his doings unto the children of Israel.

8 Merciful and gracious is the LORD, patient, and of great kindness.

9 He shall not always be angry, nor hold wrath for ever.

10 He dealeth not with us according to our sins, neither recompenseth us according to our iniquities.

11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so he hath mercy on them that fear him.

12 As far as the morning is from the evening, let our transgression be from us.

13 As a father hath mercy on his children, so hath the LORD mercy on them that fear him.

14 For he knoweth what manner of things we are: he remembereth that we are dust.

15 A man in his life is as grass; he flourisheth as a flower of the field.

16 When the wind passeth over it, it is no more, neither knoweth it any more the place thereof.

17 But the mercy of the LORD endureth for ever upon them that fear him, and his righteousness upon the children of children.

18 In them that keep his covenant, and remember his commandments, to do them.

19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in heaven, and his kingdom ruleth over all.

20 Praise ye the LORD, O ye his angels, ye mighty men of valour, which do his commandment, that the voice of his word may be heard.

21 Praise ye the LORD, all ye his hosts, his servants, which do his will.

22 Praise the LORD, all his works, in all places of his dominion! Praise the LORD, my soul!
