Psalms 145

1 A Psalm of praise. Of David. I will exalt You, my God and King; I will bless Your name forever and ever.

2 Every day I will bless You, and I will praise Your name forever and ever.

3 Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; His greatness is unsearchable.

4 One generation will commend Your works to the next, and will proclaim Your mighty acts—

5 the glorious splendor of Your majesty. And I will meditate on Your wondrous works.

6 They will proclaim the power of Your awesome deeds, and I will declare Your greatness.

7 They will extol the fame of Your abundant goodness and sing joyfully of Your righteousness.

8 The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in loving devotion.

9 The LORD is good to all; His compassion rests on all He has made.

10 All You have made will give You thanks, O LORD, and Your saints will bless You.

11 They will tell of the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might,

12 to make known to men Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom.

13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful in all His words and kind in all His actions.

14 The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.

15 The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in season.

16 You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.

17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds.

18 The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call out to Him in truth.

19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them.

20 The LORD preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.

21 My mouth will declare the praise of the LORD; let every creature bless His holy name forever and ever.

1 ¶ David's [Psalm] of praise. I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

3 Great [is] the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness [is] unsearchable.

4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

5 I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

6 And [men] shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.

7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.

8 The LORD [is] gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

9 The LORD [is] good to all: and his tender mercies [are] over all his works.

10 ¶ All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.

11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;

12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

13 Thy kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion [endureth] throughout all generations.

14 The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all [those that be] bowed down.

15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

17 The LORD [is] righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

18 The LORD [is] nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

20 The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

2 I will praise thee daily, and magnify thy name for ever and ever.

3 The LORD is great and very praiseworthy, and his greatness is unspeakable.

4 Children's children shall praise thy works, and shall speak of thy power.

5 I will speak of thy glorious and fair splendor, and of thy wonders,

6 That they should speak of thy glorious works, and that they should tell of thy glory,

7 That they may praise thy great goodness, and glorify thy righteousness.

8 Gracious and merciful is the LORD, patient, and of great kindness.

9 The LORD is good to all, and hath mercy on all his works.

10 Let all thy works give thee thanks, O LORD; and let thy saints praise thee.

11 And boast of the glory of thy kingdom, and speak of thy power,

12 That thy power may be made known unto the children of men, and the honourable majesty of thy kingdom.

13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth for ever.

14 The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all that are brought low.

15 All eyes wait upon thee, and thou givest them their meat in his season.

16 Thou openest thine hand, and fillest all that livest with good pleasure.

17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

18 The LORD is near unto all them that call upon him, to all them that call upon him with earnestness.

19 He doeth that which the godly desire: he heareth their cry, and helpeth them.

20 The LORD keepeth all them that love him, and shall destroy all the wicked.

21 Let my mouth speak the praises of the LORD, and let all flesh praise his holy name for ever and ever.
