Psalms 148

1 Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the highest places.

2 Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His heavenly hosts.

3 Praise Him, O sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining stars.

4 Praise Him, O highest heavens, and you waters above the skies.

5 Let them praise the name of the LORD, for He gave the command and they were created.

6 He established them forever and ever; He issued a decree that will never pass away.

7 Praise the LORD from the earth, all great sea creatures and ocean depths,

8 lightning and hail, snow and clouds, powerful wind fulfilling His word,

9 mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,

10 wild animals and all cattle, crawling creatures and flying birds,

11 kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth,

12 young men and maidens, old and young together.

13 Let them praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His splendor is above the earth and the heavens.

14 He has raised up a horn for His people, the praise of all His saints, of Israel, a people near to Him. Hallelujah!

1 ¶ Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that [be] above the heavens.

5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

6 He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

7 ¶ Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory [is] above the earth and heaven.

14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; [even] of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.

3 Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all the shining stars!

4 Praise him, ye heavens on every side, and the waters that are above in the sky.

5 They shall praise the name of the LORD: for he giveth, and it shall be done.

6 He keepeth them for ever and ever: he ordainth them, that they walk not otherwise.

7 Praise ye the LORD upon the earth, ye whales, and all the deeps;

8 fire, hail, snow, and vapor, tempestuous winds, which execute his word;

9 mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars;

10 beast, and all cattle, and vermin, and birds;

11 Ye kings of the earth, and all the people, and rulers, and all the judges of the earth;

12 young men and virgins, old men with young men

13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name only is great: his praise goeth forth as far as heaven and earth.

14 And he exalteth the horn of his people. Let all his saints praise, the children of Israel, the people that serve him, alleluia!
