Psalms 25

1 Of David. To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul;

2 in You, my God, I trust. Do not let me be put to shame; do not let my enemies exult over me.

3 Surely none who wait for You will be put to shame; but those who engage in treachery without cause will be disgraced.

4 Show me Your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths.

5 Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; all day long I wait for You.

6 Remember, O LORD, Your compassion and loving devotion, for they are from age to age.

7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my rebellious acts; remember me according to Your loving devotion, because of Your goodness, O LORD.

8 Good and upright is the LORD; therefore He shows sinners the way.

9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His way.

10 All the LORD’s ways are loving and faithful to those who keep His covenant and His decrees.

11 For the sake of Your name, O LORD, forgive my iniquity, for it is great.

12 Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the path chosen for him.

13 His soul will dwell in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land.

14 The LORD confides in those who fear Him, and reveals His covenant to them.

15 My eyes are always on the LORD, for He will free my feet from the mesh.

16 Turn to me and be gracious, for I am lonely and afflicted.

17 The troubles of my heart increase; free me from my distress.

18 Consider my affliction and trouble, and take away all my sins.

19 Consider my enemies, for they are many, and they hate me with vicious hatred.

20 Guard my soul and deliver me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in You.

21 May integrity and uprightness preserve me, because I wait for You.

22 Redeem Israel, O God, from all its distress.

1 ¶ [A Psalm] of David. Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.

2 O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

3 Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

4 Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou [art] the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

6 Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they [have been] ever of old.

7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

8 ¶ Good and upright [is] the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

10 All the paths of the LORD [are] mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

11 For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it [is] great.

12 What man [is] he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way [that] he shall choose.

13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

14 The secret of the LORD [is] with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

15 ¶ Mine eyes [are] ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

16 Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I [am] desolate and afflicted.

17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: [O] bring thou me out of my distresses.

18 Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.

19 Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.

20 O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.

21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.

22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

1 A psalm of David. I long for thee, O Lord.

2 My God, I hope in thee. Let me not be put to shame, lest mine enemies rejoice over me.

3 For no man shall be put to shame that waiteth for thee: but they shall be put to shame that are scornful.

4 O Lord, shew me thy ways, and teach me thy paths.

5 Guide me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God that helpeth me: daily I wait for thee.

6 Remember, O LORD, thy mercy, and thy lovingkindness, which was from the world.

7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgression: but remember me according to thy mercy, for thy lovingkindness' sake.

8 The LORD is good and upright; therefore he teacheth sinners in the way.

9 He leadeth the wretched aright, and teacheth the miserable his way.

10 The ways of the LORD are goodness and truth to them that keep his covenant and his testimony.

11 For thy name's sake, O LORD, be merciful to my iniquity, which is great.

12 Who is he that feareth the LORD? He shall instruct him in the best way.

13 His soul shall dwell in goodness, and his seed shall possess the land.

14 The secret of the LORD is among them that fear him, and his covenant he maketh them to know.

15 Mine eyes look always unto the LORD: for he shall draw my foot out of the net.

16 Turn thee unto me, and be gracious unto me: for I am lonely and wretched.

17 the anguish of my heart is great; lead me out of my troubles!

18 Behold my affliction and misery, and forgive me all my sin.

19 Behold, mine enemies are many, and they hate me for iniquity.

20 Preserve my soul, and deliver me: let me not be put to shame: for I trust in thee.

21 Wicked and right, that keep me: for I wait for thee.

22 God, deliver Israel from all, its distress!
