Psalms 43

1 Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation; deliver me from deceitful and unjust men.

2 For You are the God of my refuge. Why have You rejected me? Why must I walk in sorrow because of the enemy’s oppression?

3 Send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me. Let them bring me to Your holy mountain and to the place where You dwell.

4 Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my greatest joy. I will praise You with the harp, O God, my God.

5 Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why the unease within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.

1 ¶ Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

2 For thou [art] the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

3 O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

4 Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, [who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.

1 Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against the unholy people, and deliver me from the false and wicked people.

2 For thou art the God of my strength: why hast thou cast me off? Why hast thou let me go so sadly, when mine enemy presseth me?

3 Send thy light and thy truth, that they may guide me, and bring me unto thy holy mountain, and unto thy dwelling place,

4 that I may go in to the altar of GOD, to the GOD who is my joy and delight, and to you, GOD; on the harp give thanks, my GOD!

5 Why art thou grieved, O my soul, and art troubled within me? Wait upon God; for I will yet thank him, that he is the help of my countenance, and my God.
