Episode Description

Text: Daniel 2:31–45

In this extended, Luther-style sermon, we examine Daniel’s interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream—a towering statue representing every human kingdom, and the stone “cut not by human hands” that strikes and destroys it.

We confront the false hopes of our age: trusting in politicians, nations, movements, or human power to save us. Scripture reminds us that empires crumble, ideologies rot, and wealth decays. Only Christ, the living Stone, strikes down all rival powers and establishes a Kingdom that will never be destroyed.

This message is a call to repent of worldly confidence, cling to Christ alone, and rejoice in the eternal Kingdom that fills the earth—not by human might, but by God’s grace.

> “The stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.” — Daniel 2:35
