HISTORICAL THEOLOGY

ยง 5. Theology is Historical Theology as it comprises the knowledge and theological discernment of the rise, progress, and preservation of the Christian Church and of its institutions, and an aptitude to utilize such knowledge in the promulgation, application, and defense of divine truth.
