ESCHATOLOGY  DEFINITION   § 174. Eschatology is the doctrine of Holy Scripture concerning the end of temporal life, the second advent of Christ, the resurrection of the dead, final judgment, the consummation of all things, the everlasting damnation of the wicked, and the eternal bliss of the just in the world to come.
