§ 59. Within the six days of creation¹ God made a great multitude² of angels.

Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. Cf. v. 3.

Exodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is.

Daniel 7:10 Thousand thousands ministered unto Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him.

Revelation 5:11 And I beheld and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands.

Luke 2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host.
