We have dated this document (No. 1813) just as DeWette did: "Perhaps in June," but the above dating results from the fact that Cordatus, who came to Wittenberg toward the end of May, read and honored this letter, but then Melanchthon enclosed it with a letter to Camerarius before the end of May.
