Wurzelmann is according to your Erl. Briefw., vol. X, p. 264 the surname of the addressee, Erhard Schnepf's brother-in-law, whom Luther probably did not know.
2) The outcome of the dispute was that in November 1535 they agreed to the restitution of the mass, but with the retention of the Protestant sermon, in St. Bartholomew's Church. It remained like this until the Interim on Oct. 4, 1548, when the church had to be completely vacated to the Catholics. (Erl. Briefw.)
