90 - Means of Government

MEANS OF GOVERNMENT

 § 90. Among the means by which God curbs the evil inclinations or propensities of men in their state of natural depravity, and directs them to His wise, good, and just purposes, we find the moral Law, the divine institutions of matrimony and civil government, the laws of nature, and temporal death.
